In a very busy week, despite the lack of fights this weekend, you all had plenty to talk about. Reader Rants covered Alistair Overeem's suspension, Anheuser-Busch's strong words towards the UFC, the Chael Sonnen/Anderson Silva move to Las Vegas, and how Dan Henderson will fare against Jon Jones. Do you want to see your thoughts in Reader Rants? Like Cagewriter on Facebook and comment on the stories that show up in your newsfeed.

Not many of you bought Alistair Overeem's explanation for his elevated testosterone levels.

I want to believe Overeem, but where there is smoke, there is fire. The tests prior to the Lesnar fight had weird circumstances and now this? For a guy who proclaims innocence and knows the PED spotlight is squarely on his back, he should be the first to check the ingredients of anything he puts in his body. -- Ryan Wahl

I don't know science well enough, but he keeps on making excuses and doesn't really convince anyone that he's clean. Sure, he says everything with a straight face, but like Ryan said, where there's smoke, there's fire! -- Brandon Mendoza

Anheuser-Busch shared their displeasure with the UFC over the behavior of some fighters. One reader thought they should take a look inward.

I think it would be unfair if they let a few bad apples spoil the bunch. We're in such a sensitive age with the internet and social media, but UFC fighters aren't running around disparaging women, minorities or disabled people, they are making errant jokes like Anheuser-Busch does all the time. It's really too bad if a beer company with controversial commercials of it's own can't learn to turn the other cheek and just ask the UFC to introduce fines and consistency into it's policies about social media instead of threatening to pull their sponsorship. Talk about calling the kettle black. -- Joshua Smith

Chael Sonnen and Anderson Silva's rematch was moved to Las Vegas, and Silva isn't the only one disappointed in the move.

I'm disappointed, everyone has wanted to see how the fight is gonna go down on Anderson's home turf and this just helps Chael. It's still a good fight and if the card lives up to the hype it'll probably go down as the card of the year. -- Gabriel Martinez

Brazil fans are going to be disappointed in the UFC. This would've been the match they wanted out of any, and its been taken away from them. -- Manny Seda

Cagereaders had many answers for the question, how will Dan Henderson do against Jon Jones?

Hendo has NO advantages to use against Jones apart from experience. Height, reach, youth, strength, stamina, and the match all go to Jones. -- Donald Windley

Hendo will have to end it early, and he can do it! If Jones somehow manages to survive the 1st round (run instead of engage) and make it past half way into the second I think that the younger guy's ground game will be the difference. Too bad that, I say! Every MMA fan loves to see a knock out! Hendo deserves to go out a champ and Jones doesn't have the 'cred'. -- Kevin Astle

Everyone's favorite zombie, Chan Sung Jung, is fighting Dustin Poirier at UFC on Fuel 3 Tuesday night. Here's a little reminder of what the featherweight can do:

His last two bouts ended memorably. In December, he knocked out Mark Hominick, as seen above, and in March of 2011 took out Leonard Garcia with the rarely-seen twister submission. Will he pull the great-ending hat trick on Tuesday? Tell us in the comments, on Facebook or on Twitter.

Nick Diaz was a no-show at the UFC 137 press conference in Las Vegas - just like he was a no-show at the press conference in Toronto the day before. Dana White decided enough is enough and axed him from the card, giving Carlos Condit the title shot in his place. In this interview with MMA:30's Dave Farra; Dana White talks about the trust lost, why he thinks he'll never heard from Diaz again, and touches on Overreem vs. Lesnar and the UFC's return to Japan. If you’re looking ahead a dismal weekend of spring cleaning, a trip to Costco for a giant tub of potato salad, 40 rolls of paper towels, and a marathon of Soprano’s re-runs,  it’s time for an intervention!  Put away the mop and the membership card and join us for some rafting on the California Salmon this [...]

So if a tree falls in Goodwin Canyon, does it matter if no rafters were there to see it?  Turns out it does!  We were all set for a great little spring season on Goodwin Canyon but as soon as our bags were packed we had to re-rack because there is literally a tree blocking [...]

Though MMA earned a victory when Vermont decided to legalize the sport last week, it suffered a defeat when a bill to legalize the sport was stopped before it could reach the floor. Assembly leader Sheldon Silver decided the bill didn't have enough votes to pass.

After years of lobbying and hoping to have an event at Madison Square Garden in New York City, the UFC is disappointed that they will have to fight on another year. Zuffa vice president of government and regulatory affairs Marc Ratner was unhappy that the bill didn't even come to a vote.

"I feel 150% if we had a vote on the floor of the Assembly, we would win," Ratner said. "Not to get a vote is un-American."

Earlier this year, UFC president Dana White "guaranteed" that MMA would be in New York this year. He said the UFC wanted to bring fights not just to NYC, but to Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse, too.

Losing the chance to get MMA in the third largest state is particularly hard to swallow considering the UFC just brought an event to the NYC-area over the weekend. Though the UFC on Fox 3 fights and weigh-ins were in East Rutherford, N.J., other pre-fight events were in Manhattan. They showed how an event can bring money to the area, but still were spurned by the legislature.

Chan Sung Jung delivered with another great fight, this time taking Dustin Poirier into the fourth round before submitting him with a D'arce choke at UFC on Fuel 3 on Tuesday. He took home the Submission of the Night bonus while he and Poirier both earned Fight of the Night.

Strikeforce's heavyweight grand prix will end next Saturday as Daniel Cormier faces Josh Barnett in the final. Since the eight-man tournament has been through many twists and turns, here's a handy-dandy reminder of the wins, losses, and those super-cool lettermen jackets.

Cormier's spot in the finals is particularly surprising considering he was a replacement for Alistair Overeem, who found his way to the UFC after making it to the semifinals of the grand prix. Will his undefeated streak continue, or will Barnett walk away the champ? Tell us in the comments, on Facebook or on Twitter.

Dan Miller's infant son is in need of help to fight kidney disease, and the MMA family has stepped up to help. Two different groups have sold shirts, fighters have donated memorabilia and worked at a seminar, and Nate Diaz, his brother's opponent last Saturday night, told a national TV audience to support the cause. Miller said he was overwhelmed by the support.

While MMA is multi-million dollar business, the sport is also big on family. Fighters bend over backwards to help each other out. Seeing that play out to help out young Danny Miller is heartwarming.
